外文摘要：This paper aims at introducing some study of the autonomous learning made at home and abroad; explores the importance of cultivating English autonomous learning in Chinese College English Teaching context. It analyses the present condition under which the freshmen are lack of the ability of autonomous learning, and suggests taking some concrete measures as how to develop the ability of English autonomous learning.
