外文摘要：The article points out that some college libraries cannot well coordinate the relations between traditional and modem services, which therefore results in empty promises and principles in their service and the inadequacy of utilization of the books. The author proposes a reader-tailored service and summarizes some effective measures that should be taken in practice.
