中文摘要：该文利用认知语义学词汇研究的有关成果,讨论hand词义演变的认知动因,提出hand基本义到派生义的发展过程是人类利用对hand这一实体多方面特征的相关知识,进行类比和突显为特征的思维加工,从而形成新的意义的过程.运用语义成分分析法对hand的基本义进行分析,从而得出hand这一实体多方面特征;且通过对圣经的语料的具体分析阐明意义演变的过程.

外文摘要：This paper attempts to account for the evolution of'hand'in meaning by adopting some theories in cognitive semantics. Based on that, the author proposes the hypothesis that the development of ' hand' from primary meaning to derivative meaning is that human beings utilize the knowledge of hand as an entity and process them in thinking by analogy and salience. This hypothesis is proved by analyzing the primary meaning of 'hand' in the light of semantic componential analysis and providing the examples of usages of 'hand' with transferred meaning in Bible.
