外文摘要：Drama translation, is a comparatively special area in translation studies. It involves not only the interlingual transfer of a given written text between two linguistic sign systems, but also other extralingustic elements. The present paper discusses some issues in the study of drama translation. The major issues include： the nature of translated drama, the aim of drama translation, the trait of translated playtext, the transfer of cultural content, as well as the status of the drama translator.
