外文摘要：Market towns were thriving in East Zhejiang in the Song Dynasty. The commercial and industrial economy developed quite rapidly. Its industrial structure and market system were becoming more and more perfect. Urban features gradually appeared in many areas, such as residential distribution, community layout, social management and cultural life. The development of market towns strongly advanced the development of the regional economy both in cities and countries, and promoted the reform of economic structure and society in rural areas.
