中文摘要：近二十年来在影视领域出现的诸多以母亲形象为主角的作品在选材、情节和主题等方面存在共同特点,即表现出人物的底层化、情节的苦难化和情感的神圣化。从社会性别的视角看,这些作品建构了一种本质主义的性别意识形态,使母亲身份与牺牲、无私、伟大、无所不能等品质与力量密切相关,体现了父权制下的理想化的母亲观念。

外文摘要：This paper analyses the images of mother in current movies and TV dramas since 1990s. There are some common features in these works： the grass-rooted characters, the suffering plot, the sanctified emotion. From the perspective of social gender, these works have constructed one gender ideology of essentialism, which correlates the identity of mother with sacrifice, selflessness, greatness, and omnipotence. This ideology reflects an idealistic notion of mother under the patriarchal society.
