中文摘要：语法教学在成人外语学习过程中是不可替代的。通过对成人英语学习的特点、传统语法教学的弊端、语篇语法教学的优势等方面的分析 ,提出成人英语学习中语法教学的必要性、传统语法教学改革的紧迫性 。

外文摘要：Opinions that the role of grammar teaching is irreplaceable in adult English learning are presented in this paper.Exploration on the characteristics of adult learning,the defects of traditional grammar translation approach and the advantage of discourse grammar teaching approach is provided in this essay to evidence the idea that discourse grammar approach will be the only way to reform grammar teaching in China.
