外文摘要：This paper aims to explore the relationship between pragmatic ambivalence and conversational strategy. As two basic concepts in linguistics, pragmatic ambivalence and conversational strategy are closely related to each other. In everyday communication, people often deliberately violate Cooperative Principle or adopt other conversational strategies to achieve the effect of pragmatic ambivalence.
