外文摘要：Prof. She Deyu＇s new monograph The Study of the Wu Family in Zhoushan,Shanyin County（ Shaoxing County） systematically exhibits the historical connotations of the Wu family in Zhoushan,Shanyin County（ Shaoxing County） and analyzes the important and internal factors affecting the development and success of the family in the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are two aspects in the innovation of the book. On the one hand,it reveals the historical connotations and unique properties of the family; on the other hand,it expounds the positive significance of the core value of the Wu family culture. Adopting the study path of micro-history,the author makes an in-depth study of the family culture empirically and multi-angledly,trying to expand the research space of Shaoxing local history from the point of view of family studies.
