外文摘要：Disadvantageous factors affecting English listening comprehension, including language, cultural and psychological barriers are analyzed. Four corresponding strategies to eliminate those barriers and to improve listening comprehension are presented. They are: 1) to master the basic elements of language; 2) to obtain the background knowledge of culture; 3) to develop good quality of psychology; 4) to form a correct and effective listening habit.
