中文摘要：语言的转述是个十分普遍的语言现象,它能大大增强语言的表达力和灵活性,因此,语言学不同领域的学者都对此颇为关注,但由于他们的研究视角和方法不同,他们对转述法的研究在名称、分类和内涵上有比较大的区别。本文主要对五位比较有代表性的学者对英语转述的研究进行对比分析,以期帮助读者更好地理解和使用英语转述。

外文摘要：Language reporting, a common language phenomenon, can increase the power and flexibility of language enormously, which attracts the attention of the linguists in different fields. Studies on reporting differ in terms, classifications and coverage due to different perspeetives and methods. This paper mainly aims to analyze and compare the studies of five representative scholars on English reporting in order to help readers to understand and use English reporting better.
