外文摘要:The gel carders obtained by crosslinking of carboxymethyl cellulose with Al^3+ were used to encapsulate herbicide 2,4-D, so as to control its release rate, prolong its action time and reduce the pesticide pollution. The release of 2,4-D was further slowed by incorporating modified bentonites into the CMC gel formulation, with the time taken for 50% of herbicide to be released (t50) prolonged from 9.18 h to 16.0 h. The performance of various bentonites in the composite gel formulations was closely related to their adsorption to 2,4-D. The bentonite having higher adsorption capacity performed better on controlling the release of herbicide. It was concluded that the release of 2,4-D from the gel formulations was dominated by a Fickcian diffusion by analyzing the release data with an experiential model.
