中文摘要：从杨宪益的翻译原则"信、达、神韵"出发,运用自建"鲁迅小说汉英平行语料库",借助语料库检索软件Wordsmith对杨宪益1972年和1980年翻译的《祝福》的两个版本进行对比研究。杨宪益在修改1972年版译文时在"信、达、神韵"三方面对译文进行了认真、仔细的修改。修改后的1980年版译文用词准确、结构简洁、逻辑清晰,大大提升了译文的翻译质量,真正体现了杨宪益的翻译原则,使1980年版《祝福》的英译本成为译界优秀文学作品的翻译典范。

外文摘要：Starting from Yang Xianyi’s translation principle “faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance”, using the Chinese-English parallel corpus of novels by Lu Xun,which was built by ourselves, and Wordsmith, this study compared the two versions （1972, 1980） of Yang Xianyi’s translation of “ Blessing ”. In the 1980 version, Yang made a serious and careful revision of the translation concerning the three aspects of “faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance”. This version of the translation is more accurate, simpler in structure and clearer in logic. With better translation quality, and as a representative of Yang’s principle of translation, it has become an excellent example of literature translation.
