中文摘要：英汉平行语料库在英汉对比、翻译教学等领域的作用日显突出。从较为实用的如何创建个人平行语料库入手,介绍创建的具体步骤,包括使用的软件,以及如何将平行语料库运用到翻译课堂教学,从而提高学生的翻译意识,激发学生对翻译的兴趣。同时,也对创建个人平行语料库的局限性与不足进行反思,旨在利用平行语料库,更好地辅助翻译教学。

外文摘要：Bilingual parallel corpus between English and Chinese has been playing a more and more significant role in the aspect of comparing Chinese and English as well as translation teaching. From a practical perspective, this paper introduces the detailed procedures on how to construct personal parallel corpus including the usage of different types of software and how to apply such corpus into classroom so as to enhance the students translation awareness and interests. In the meantime, the paper also aims to make best use of such personal corpus in helping translation teaching in consideration of a few limitations of building it.
