外文摘要：Soil Mechanics is one compulsory foundation course for civil engineering major, which both theory and practical aspects. Its contents and teaching system are different from those of other courses. tic teaching method is convenient to this course to help students study it actively. In this paper, heuristic method in soil mechanics is introduced with shearing strength chapter, and some suggests on heuristic method are proposed.
