中文摘要：材料力学是工科专业一门与工程实践联系紧密的专业基础课程,本课程教学运用以工程案例研究为导向的教学方法,把工程案例引入课堂教学,引导学生对工程实际问题进行力学分析、建模和设计计算,激发学生的学习兴趣,提升学生的专业工程能力.

外文摘要：Mechanics of materials is a basic engineering course closely related to construction examples.In this paper,a new method of teaching through studying engineering cases is presented,using engineering cases as supplementary material of classroom teaching and research report as an part of course assessment.Students would be guided to think and analysis the engineering cases or practical problems,establish the mechanical model and design calculation,stimulate learning interest,hence enhancing the professional abilities.
