中文摘要:本文首先从学习者自主的概念出发 ,并从心理学的角度揭示其实质 ,然后通过问卷调查 ,分析中、西方外语学习者的自主意识差异 ,证实中国大学生在语言学习中的自主意识并不弱于西方学生 ,最后提出该调查对外语教学的四个启示。
外文摘要:Starting from the concepts of learner autonomy or autonomous learning, this paper firstly introduces what has been achieved in this field at home and abroad. It then explores the essence of autonomous learning from the psychological perspective. Focusing on the discrepancies in autonomy awareness between Chinese and western learners, the author of this paper makes a survey through a questionnaire, the results of which have confirmed what Littlewood believed: Chinese tertiary students share the similar attitudes towards autonomy with their western counterparts. Given Chinese educational context in which learning and teaching is always a contradiction, it finally works out some proposals for foreign language teachers in China.
