中文摘要：本文从尤里·洛特曼的文本概念出发,以美国当代科幻作家雷·布拉德伯里的《华氏451》为研究对象,探讨该小说在不同层面上的意义运作机制。《华氏451》通过二元对立的文本结构对冷战时期的美苏关系进行了描摹。作者在科幻小说形式与内容上的革新赋予小说稳定的意义内核,使其在不同时期都具有解读的开放性。同时,《华氏451》体现出西方圣经文学和美国式成长小说的特点。

外文摘要：Based on the concept of text initiated by Yuri Lotman,this paper analyzes the meaning mechanism exercised at different levels in the science fiction Fahrenheit 451 written by Ray Bradbury.The binary opposition structure adopted by the fiction reflects the relationship between the United States and the Soviet Union in the Cold War.Bradbury’s innovations in both form and content have endowed the fiction with its stable core of significance,which is open to different interpretations as time goes on.Moreover,Fahrenheit 451 features itself with the Biblical literature and the American initiation stories.
