中文摘要：该文运用原型范畴理论和隐喻理论,基于英汉平行语料库,分析back常用义项,考察其转义构建问题。发现back转义构建所涉及隐喻映射分为五类:前四类为back的位置特征向方向域、时间域、事情发展域及作用力域的映射,第五类为back的功能特征映射到动作域。并证明目的域在隐喻映射理解中具有主导作用。

外文摘要：This essay applies prototype category theory and metaphor theory to analyzing the construction of transferred meanings of BACK. The metaphorical mapping in construction of transferred meanings of BACK is divided into five categories. The first four categories are the projection of positional characteristic of BACK to direction, time, develpoment of things and active force. The Fifth category is the projection of functional characteristic of BACK into action. It also proves the leading role of target domain in the understanding of metaphorical mappings.
