中文摘要：翻译策略体现了译者的目的 ,也决定了译文的文体构形特征 ,因而历来受到译家和评论家的关注。本文认为 Evan- Zohar的多元系统论不能完全解释中国近现代的翻译现象 ;翻译策略的选择在很大程度上取决于译者对目标文化的主观态度 ,并试图以传统美学对几次翻译高潮中的代表人物所采取的翻译策略作一探讨。

外文摘要：Translation strategies present the translators' aim and decide on the characteristics of the style, therefore they have been attracting the attention of translators and critics. This paper holds that Evan-Zohar's polysystem hypothesis can't fully explain what has happened in the Chinese history of translation in the last century, that the selection of translation strategy largely depends on the translator's attitude towards the target culture, and tries to make an exploration of the different selection by some typical translators during the high tides in the light of the Chinese traditional aesthetics.
