外文摘要:A general and efficient strategy has been developed for the synthesis of various chain 2-pyridone derivatives in moderate-to-good yields via a carbon sulfonic acid-catalyzed one-pot reaction of 2,2-dihydroxy-1-arylethan-1-one, 2-pyridone, and amine. This protocol features recyclable carbon sulfonic acid, broad substrate flexibility, highly functional group compatibility, and green and mild reaction conditions. More importantly, it enables the rapid acquisition of structurally diverse chain 2-pyridone derivatives by varying the functional groups of the substrates. A plausible mechanism for the domino strategy is proposed based on controlled experiments. This strategy not only provides various chain 2-pyridone derivatives, but also expands the application of carbon sulfonic acids in organic synthesis.
