中文摘要：运用德国戏剧符号学家Manfred Pfister的戏剧语言"多功能性"理论,对戏剧话语所隐含的六大功能:指称功能、表情功能、诉求功能、寒暄功能、元语言功能和诗学功能作分析研究,指出戏剧翻译者要注重对源语和译入语在语言功能方面的差异研究,最大限度地再现戏剧源语言信息的功能。

外文摘要：The present paper gives a general survey of six language functions implied in dramatic discourse by applying the theory of ＂Polyfunctionality＂ put forward by Manfred Pfister, a German dramatic semiotician. These functions include referential function, expressive function, appellative function, pbatic function, metalingual function and poetic function. It is argued that drama translators should make a study of the differences in language functions between source language and target language so as to reproduce the functions of original dramatic language to the utmost extent.
