外文摘要：Han Ren is the latest masterpiece of Hunan writer XIAO Renfu.It not only reflects the writer＇s hope of seeking the root of national spirit deep into the history,but also reveals the his expectation of enhancing the level of his works with the form of historical novels which are full of vicissitudes,and it＇s also an attempt to carry out his folk standpoint.The novel gives a vivid description of officialdom with bitter sarcasm.At the same time,the deviation between its writing intention and text,the uncertainty of historical memory and literature writing,both reflect the true status of modern officialdom novels and historical novels,which take ＂folk＂ as its spiritual resource.
