外文摘要：＂Shuo ×jiu ×＂ , a discontinuous copy construction, has a high frequency in modern spoken Chinese. The meanings of the two copy components in the construction are not completely the same. The basic meaning of ＂shuo × jiu × ＂ is to implement projects as soon as possible or to confirm and emphasize certain implementation of projects. Different contexts endow the structure with different meanings. The struc-ture of ＂shuo × jiu × ＂ can be continuously used with the functions of enumeration and comparison. There are resemblances between the structure ＂shuo × jiu × ＂ and ＂xiang × jiu × ＂, yet there are also dis-crepancies between them. So the two structures are not unconditionally interchangeably used.
