外文摘要：This paper discusses the association of cultural context and vocabulary, emphatically points out the restrictive function of cultural context in words connotation, the explanatory function of cultural context in words, and the importance of cultural context in vocabulary teaching, then analyses the influence of hidden culture in differences reflected in associative meaning of words. I t further explains cultural context exists everywhere, its universality establishes its absoluteness.
