中文摘要：杜十娘悲剧荡气回肠 ,数百年来令人扼腕 ,亦令人深思。关于这一悲剧根源的探讨 ,学术界迄今已有成说四种。本文在对四说一一做出评说之后认为 ,金钱的力量、妓女的商品属性、封建礼教以及杜十娘可能有的爱情贞节观念等 ,对悲剧的形成具有一定的影响 ,但都不足以成为悲剧最终完成的根本原因。杜十娘在被心上人以一千两白银的“赚头”出卖给他人以后 ,愤而沉江自亡 ,把爱情婚姻连同生命一同放弃的深层原因是 ,她心中有不易觉察而又根深蒂固的奴性意识。进一步追究 ,存在于作家脑海中的男权意识也是导致杜十娘悲剧结局的深层原因之一。

外文摘要：Du shiniang tragedy has been appealing,and thought out from three hundred years ago. Surrounding the causation of this tragedy, there are fore theories in the current academe. Based on comment upon them, this paper puts forward that the power of money, the goods quality of prostitute,the ceremony civilization of feudalism, etc., influenced the tragedy,but did not form its final cause. Investigating the tragedy further, the author shows that both of Du shiniang′s slavery and this fictionist's sexism in their hearts brought the tragedy out.
