中文摘要：目前我国英语教学研究的重心转向了“以学习者为中心”的探讨与实践。本文在对绍兴文理学院英语专业新生自主学习能力状况调查的基础上 ,进行思考分析 ,并就如何培养和发展学生学习自主性这一问题提出一些建议与对策。

外文摘要：It becomes a major trend that English language teaching and leaning focuses on the 'learner-centered' approach. This paper analyzes the possibility of fostering and developing autonomy in English learning among English majors by presenting autonomy principles and pratice. It is based on a survey of freshmen English majors from Shaoxing College of Arts and Sciences.
