中文摘要："Ezumezu"是一种根植于非洲文化的逻辑系统,它具有两个主要特征:第一,它是一种三值逻辑,Ezumezu将值域分为"ezu""izu"和"ezumezu",前两者构成"次对立",但各自都不自足,需相互补充,而互补的最终结果就是生成"既真又假"的第三值;第二,它是动态的,两个边缘变量持续进行向心运动和离心运动,最终经过"创造性抗争"生成新的中心变量,中心变量是边缘变量的对话和互补而不是融合。对话与互补是Ezumezu的核心操作,作者希望借此打破西方逻辑的二分模式以及由此带来的他者化思维,从而基于"再他者化"实现一种差异化的存在,重建世界哲学图景。

外文摘要：Rooted in African culture,Ezumezu is a system of logic for African philosophy and studies. There are two prominent features of Ezumezu,namely trivalence and dynamics. Firstly,Ezumezu contains"ezu"( truth),"izu"( falsity) and "ezumezu"( complement),among which the first two are subcontrary and they complement each other as to form the third one. Secondly,two peripheral variables constantly involved themselves in arumaristic and ohaharistic movements and with creative struggle they finally forge a central variable through conversation and mutual complement. By emphasizing conversation and mutual complement,the author of the book intends to challenge the dichotomy of "self"and "other"in western logic as well as the "othering"thought it brings about. He proposes "re-othering "as an approach to preserve cultural diversity,which is critical to reshape the world map of philosophy.
