外文摘要：This paper believes that the innovation of academic papers can be defined as the differences of the knowledge in the papers from the existing literatures in related disciplines. Based on this definition, the paper formulates an index system for identifying innovation factors in academic papers, and designs a practical mechanism for journal editors to apply this system.
