中文摘要：夏洛蒂·勃朗特(1816-1855)是十九世纪英国文坛上一位既写小说也写诗歌的双重身份的作家。然而,长久以来由于她的诗歌创作成就一直被忽略,她的诗人地位没有得到认可。其实夏洛蒂的诗歌创作远早于小说创作,诗歌的量与质与小说不相上下,诗歌的风格既秉承了英国浪漫主义色彩,又彰显了维多利亚时期诗风,既充满奇特的想象力,又糅合了自身经历。首先对夏洛蒂诗歌创作背景进行了简要回溯;其次对已出版的诗歌及译著简单介绍;最后就诗歌较显著的特征进行述评,主要涉及诗歌的母题、风格、题材。

外文摘要：Charlotte Bronte is a world-renowned 19th century British novelist,but nearly an unknown poet. Her poems have not received the attention they have deserved. It is a fact that she started writing poetry quite earlier than her novel writing and her poems are as excellent as her novels. Her poetry displays the Victorian styles as well as inherits the British Romantic manners,not only full of exotic imagination but also mingling her own experiences. This paper begins with a brief introduction to her poetry-writing,then the collection and publication of her poetry and the translated Chinese versions. Lastly,it presents some distinct features of her poems,namely motifs,styles and subject matters.
