中文摘要：中国纺织业具有成本、质量、资金、技术等方面的比较优势,但随着全球纺织品配额的取消,纺织服装行业的竞争加剧,世界范围内纺织服装生产过剩,行业利润空间会更小,致使中国纺织业传统的比较优势不再明显。另外,配额取消后,和配额起同样限制作用的贸易保护条款将大大增加。文章对此进行了讨论,并指出了后配额时代中国纺织企业应该积极采取的措施。

外文摘要：The Chinese textile industry has comparative advantages in terms of labor cost, product quality, capital and technology in the world market. However, as the quota restric- tion on global textile trade is lifted, the textile and clothing industry will face stronger competition, there will be surplus production of textiles and clothing worldwide and the industry will get narrower profit margin. As a result, the Chinese textile industry will loose its traditional competitive advantages. In addition, there will be more and more trade barriers, which will act the same role as quotas. While discussing these issues, the article also raises some countermeasures designed to help Chinese enterprises adapt to the new situation.
