中文摘要：近三十年来,有关读心的理论论与模拟论之间的论战成为了社会认知心理学、心灵哲学与认知科学的焦点议题。理论论认为我们是借助一种心智理论来理解他人以解释并预测他人的行为。与之相对,模拟论认为我们是通过在心理上模拟他人来理解他人。理论论通过坍塌论证质疑了模拟论的理论独立性,而模拟论则借助对相似性概念的界定为心理模拟在读心上的合法地位进行了辩护。然而,通过区分实在相似性和抽象相似性,发现模拟论仍然无法摆脱坍塌威胁,而理论论也无法回应读心的发展连续性问题。最终,虽然一种读心的混合模型得到了更多的青睐,但其合理性则有待于经验科学的检验。

外文摘要：For nearly three decades,the debate between Theory of Theory and Simulation Theory on mind reading has been the focus of social cognitive psychology,philosophy of mind and cognitive science.Theory theorists hold that we understand others with the aid of a theory of mind to explain and predict the behavior of others.Simulation theorists,by contrast,hold that we understand others by mentally simulating them.Theory of theory questions the theoretical independence of Simulation Theory through collapse arguments,and Simulation Theory defends the legitimacy of mental analogue in mind-reading through the definition of the concept of similarity.However,by distinguishing between solid similarities and abstract similarities,it is found that Simulation Theory is still unable to escape the threat of collapse,and Theory of Theory is unable to respond to the problem of the developmental continuity of mindreading.Ultimately,although a mind-reading hybrid model has gained more favor,its plausibility has yet to be tested by empirical science.
