中文摘要：绍兴文理学院作为新理念大学英语网络教学示范学校,采用基于网络的自主学习模式,与中学阶段以传授语言知识为基本特征的教学模式有很大不同。在此学习模式转型期,很多学生表现出不适应性,对要学什么、怎么学没有明确认识,对自己的英语学习无从安排。基于此现状,本研究以大学英语自主学习为切入点,采用问卷调查、个别访谈和课堂观察等研究手段,试图探讨他们在学习模式转型阶段面对的困难和解决方案。

外文摘要：Autonomous English teaching and learning, a web-based and independent teaching and learning mode, is quite different from that in middle schools. The difference makes many college students feel confused about ＂what to learn＂ and ＂how to learn＂ . In order to help them find a way out, the paper, based on the analysis of the data collected from the questionnaire, individual interviews and classroom observation, probes into the difficulties they are confronted with and puts forward three suggestions for teachers.
