中文摘要：以韩礼德与哈桑的衔接理论为理论框架,以多年来积累的倒装结构的例子为语料,对英语中的倒装结构进行了详细的考察,发现该结构在语篇中发挥着巨大的衔接力,可以完成句内、句际、段落间乃至小节间的衔接;同时探讨了倒装结构在发挥衔接作用时所借助的形式各异的衔接手段。

外文摘要：Grounded as a theoretical framework upon the cohesion theory introduced by Halliday and Hasan,based as corpus on a variety of accumulated examples,the paper endeavors to exhaustively probe into the anastrophe in English.Consequently,it concludes that the structure plays a tremendous role in cohesion,covering intra-clausal cohesion,inter-clausal cohesion,inter-paragraph cohesion and even inter-section cohesion;meanwhile,the paper discusses the varied devices on which the anastrophe count while realizing their respective cohesive objectives.
