中文摘要：基于2001—2012年《境外投资企业(机构)名录》与国泰安(CSMAR)数据库的匹配数据,选取沪深两市126家进行对外投资的上市企业为研究对象,考察中国跨国企业在制度双元情境下如何通过进入模式选择来响应母公司和东道国的“双重”制度压力。研究结果显示:国有跨国企业可以通过重复使用合资型进入模式缓解因国有性质造成的企业内部制度压力,并且同时克服因母国和东道国之间的文化距离导致的外部制度压力,进而获得内外部合法性。

外文摘要：Based on the matched data of the Directory of Chinese Outward Foreign Direct Investment (OFDI) firms and the China Stock Market and Accounting Research (CSMAR) database, we use a sample of 571 outward foreign direct investment projects in 2001-2012 period which adopted by 126 Chinese firms listed on the Shenzhen and Shanghai stock exchange of China, to explore how Chinese multinational firms respond to internal and external institutional pressures through entry mode choice in the context of institutional duality. Our empirical results reveal that joint venture (JV) will be repeatedly adopted for Chinese state-owned multinational firms, especially when they invest in the host countries that have different culture from the home country.
