中文摘要：论文从文化视角切入,探讨"后期浪漫派"作家徐訏的文化选择。徐訏的小说既是对中国传统文化的继承与发扬,又蕴涵了现代西方的哲学思考与艺术技巧,两者的完美融合使徐訏的"浪漫传奇小说"成为中国现代文学史上的独特存在。可以认为,他的创作成功实现了古典与现代、东方与西方、通俗与高雅的高度融合,获得了独特的文化意蕴与现代审美情趣。

外文摘要：Starting from the perspective of culture, this paper attempts to probe into the cultural selection of Xu Yu, a writer of the ＂later romanticism＂. In his novels, Xu Yu has not only carried forward and enhanced traditional Chinese culture but also exhibited the modem western philosophical consideration and artistic skills, and the perfect integration of these two aspects has rendered Xu Yu＇ s ＂novels of romance and legend＂ as a unique scene in the history of modem Chinese literature. It is thought that Xu＇ s literary crea- tion has attained the perfect integration between the classical and the modem, the oriental and the occidental, and the popular and the refined, thus having secured a unique cultural implication and the appeal of modem aesthetics.
